Hey Guys, Malcolm from Healthava. Today I will be sharing with you guys 3 Low Calorie and delicious desserts. Lets get Started!
Our first recipe is going to be strawberry truffle, and what you’ll need is one third cup of freeze dried, strawberries.
A cup of fresh strawberries, three to four tablespoons of maple syrup.
One cup of unsweetened cocoa powder in a food processor or blender.
you want to puree your strawberries until there’s been like a jelly consistency.
And then in a bowl I will add my unsweetened cocoa powder and all of my wet ingredients.
Once that’s complete, go ahead and hold the mixture together.
This will take some effort in order for it to get that big triple consistency. Once the mixture is well combined.
You can go ahead and pump that mixture into the freezer for 30 minutes, in order for it to chill.
I’m going to line a baking pan with some wax paper, and then I’m also going to crush my freeze dried strawberries in a Ziploc bag.
In order to make a delicious and satisfying outer coating.
After the mixture has been in the freezer for about 30 minutes, I’m going to grab about a tablespoon of the mixture and roll them into balls, and then place the truffles into the freeze dried strawberries.
You can see these in the freezer, they are super funky, and delicious. And I’m very low in sugar. I absolutely love them. recipe number two, or angel food cupcakes.
These are about 80 calories a serving with the whipped cream and the fruit. This is the angel food cake box that I’m using.
You can use any brand that you like. And it’s so easy all you have to do is follow the instructions on the box, that’s exactly what I’m doing.
I’m lining my cupcake pan with these silver cupcake liners. You can use any liners that you want.
You don’t have to line them it’s just your preference, but they come out a lot easier.
Okay. I’m going to scoop about a tablespoon of the mixture into each cookie.
Kleiner angel food cake expands like crazy in the oven so you don’t want to overfill the cupcake liners.
The only difference I did was, instead of cooking these in the oven for about 45 minutes, like the box said, I actually bake them for 15 minutes, and then this is the coconut whipped cream that I’m using.
You can use any kind of the cream that you prefer Coconut whipped cream is delicious.
After that, I’m going to top this off with some strawberries and blueberries, again, it’s all up to your preference.
This is such a light dessert and it’s low in calories. Dessert number three is a fruit tart, but not exactly.
I’m starting off with these wonton wrappers and in a cupcake pan I’m just going to grease it with some avocado oil that went by wonton wrappers don’t stick to the pan.
Im taking two one ton rappers and I’m going to place it in the pattern like so that way when I place them into the pan.
I’m going to make about eight of these, I didn’t want to make 12.
While that is baking at 350 degrees for approximately 6-8 minutes, I’m going to go ahead and prepare my fruit.
I chose to use strawberries mandarin oranges blueberries and kiwis. My feeling I’m using vanilla Greek yogurt.
You can use any kind of yogurt that you like I think it tastes amazing with sugar free pudding as well.
And then you can just assemble this to your liking. These cups are actually really tiny so, there was only so much fruit that I could actually placed on it.
Obviously when I ate it I just scooped a bunch of fruit on top of it and ate it.
